Description of Work This position supports a wide range of administrative and tenant service tasks across the housing programs. The role focuses on assisting residents, handling documentation, and providing reliable front desk support. As a Bilingual Management Aide for the York Housing Authority, you will perform the following duties: Eligibility Calculations: Complete rent and eligibility computations for program participants Documentation Review: Verify and process required forms for annual reexams and interim updates Public Assistance: Respond to inquiries about guidelines, requirements, waiting lists, and housing availability Record Management: Scan, index, and update participant files and notes in the computer system Front Desk Support: Provide reception coverage and route maintenance concerns from tenants Program Assistance: Support a variety of administrative, fiscal, and occupancy tasks across housing programs Work Schedule and Additional Information Full‑time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday‑Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices Required Experience, Training & Eligibility Qualifications One (1) year of experience in performing tasks associated with the management of multi‑family housing developments, or properties owned or administered by public housing agencies; or One (1) year of comparable business, industrial, or professional employment; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training Other Requirements This particular position requires the selected candidate to be able to read, write, and speak in Spanish. You may be contacted for a Spanish speaking proficiency evaluation conducted by the Bureau of Talent Acquisition, PA Office of Administration.
