Quality Technician - 1st shift

Job Overview Alkegen is a global leader in specialty materials, including battery technologies, filtration media, and insulation. The role focuses on quality assurance and audit processes across production and engineering functions. Responsibilities Participate in the preparation of the annual internal audit program for the quality management system, receiving, managing, and disseminating audit results to verify compliance with reference standards. Review manuals, standards, and quality policies in various company areas. Participate in internal and external audits for products, processes, and management policies. Support the preparation and implementation of management systems and normative documents (standards, procedural documents, etc.). Perform detailed physical inspections of raw materials, components, and processes using metrology equipment and document conformance. Investigate customer complaints, returns, and internal failures to determine root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions. Maintain accurate quality records and databases. Assist quality auditors on the production floor when required. Follow safety procedures and use PPE. Work extended hours when needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.
