Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their mental health challenges, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring each plan aligns with the unique needs and goals of the client.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing diverse therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed care.

• Coordinate care with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic treatment that addresses all aspects of clients' lives.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations, offering immediate support and intervention for clients experiencing acute emotional distress.

• Engage in community outreach programs and educational initiatives to foster mental health awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental illness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on serving a varied client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from different backgrounds. You'll have the opportunity to develop cultural competence by working with individuals from various ethnicities, socioeconomic statuses, and personal histories. Qualifications\n

• A valid, independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with clients.

• Demonstrated cultural competence, capable of effectively working with diverse populations.

• Proficient organizational and time management skills to maintain timely documentation and client records.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with electronic health record systems for documenting sessions, treatment plans, and client progress.

• Previous work in community mental health settings or experience in crisis intervention.

Compensation and Benefits\n
