Urgent Care Registered Nurse

Pay: $58.80/hour
Location: Minnetonka, MN (Minneapolis area)
Job Type: Contract / Temporary
Schedule: Clinic hours; shifts typically 7–10 hours , scheduled in 6-week blocks after initial training. Expect 2–3 weekdays + every other weekend , and some major holidays .

Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced urgent care environment. You’ll assess patients, administer treatments/medications, support improved outcomes, and provide education and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and perform routine clinical assessments
• Administer medications and treatments as appropriate (oral/injectable/IV/topical where applicable)
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient response to treatment
• Perform point-of-care testing and support vaccine administration
• Review medications for side effects/interactions and document accurately in the EMR
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical teams

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of work (must be in good standing)
• BLS/CPR certification
• At least 1 year of related healthcare experience
• Recent experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care, or ER
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Comfort working in an EMR (Epic preferred)

This is a patient-facing role and is on-site .
