Position Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the sales department, driving sales performance, coaching the sales team, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated automotive professional with proven leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve dealership sales goals.
- Recruit, train, coach, and mentor sales consultants.
- Monitor individual and team performance while providing ongoing feedback and support.
- Assist customers throughout the purchasing process to ensure a first-class buying experience.
- Manage inventory presentation and merchandising standards.
- Work closely with finance, service, and management teams to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and ethical sales practices.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership experience is required.
- Prior experience as a Sales Manager or in a sales leadership role is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a successful sales team.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Experience with dealership CRM systems and sales software.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College education is a plus.
