Work Environment

This role is performed onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facility, designed to create a comfortable and motivating atmosphere for patients. The therapeutic environment includes state-of-the-art equipment and a reinforced focus on rehabilitation methodologies that suit various orthopedic conditions. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing you with consistency and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' needs to establish personalized treatment plans that address their specific goals.
• Manage an individual patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour, allowing for focused, quality care in every session.
• Deliver a comprehensive range of treatments, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and other modalities designed to restore function and mobility.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, adjusting protocols as necessary based on progress and feedback.
• Educate patients on injury prevention techniques and empower them to take charge of their recovery through tailored fitness and wellness programs.
• Ensure thorough, accurate documentation of patient services provided, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes, gain insights, and enhance program effectiveness.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes to track patient progress and adapt therapeutic approaches accordingly.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse range of patients with various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility issues. You will play a critical role in improving the quality of life for individuals of all ages, from young athletes to older adults seeking to regain independence after injuries.

Qualifications

• Possess a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Must hold a valid state license as a Physical Therapist and maintain an untarnished professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a clear understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols that meet individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, as it will facilitate a smoother transition into our clinic's workflow.
• Experience in employing advanced therapeutic techniques and engaging patients in their rehabilitation process is highly valued.
