Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to develop tailored therapy strategies, ensuring each plan addresses individual needs and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, group sessions, couples counseling, and family therapy, into your practice.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to best meet client needs.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering to ethical standards and legal obligations.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care and promote positive client outcomes.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and seeking additional training to remain current with advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health resources. This includes clients dealing with diverse issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use. By building strong rapport and trust, you will play an essential role in guiding clients towards emotional healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting.

• Demonstrated ability to establish meaningful relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
