Looking for a career in welding but need the training and certifications to get started?

Tri-Rivers Career Center Adult Education is actively accepting applications for our Evening Welding, Fabrication, and Allied Process Program .

This 650-hour, hands-on training program is designed for adults who want to build the skills employers are looking for while preparing to earn up to 11 AWS industry certifications .

Classes are held in the evening, making this a great option for individuals who are currently working, changing careers, or ready to enter the skilled trades.

What You'll Learn

Students receive hands-on training in:

SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding)
FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding)
GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding/MIG)
GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding/TIG)
Structural Fabrication
Intro to Pipe Welding
Oxy Fuel Cutting
Carbon Arc Cutting and Gouging
Weld Print Reading
Intro to Lincoln/FANUC Robotic Welding
Math for Welders
Lab Safety
OSHA 10 Safety Certification
Employability and Job Search Skills

Program Schedule

Evening Cohort
Monday through Friday
5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Orientation: October 1, 2026 at 5:00 PM
Program Start: October 5, 2026
Program End: June 18, 2027
Enrollment Deadline: January 15, 2027

Program Cost

Total Tuition and Fees: $13,565
Tuition: $2,750 per quarter
Application Fee: $95
Lab Fee: $400
Supplies, Textbooks & Testing: $2,070

Financial aid is available to eligible applicants.

Each quarter's tuition is due before the first day of the quarter.
