# BookkeeperAxis Talent GroupBe an Early ApplicantFull TimemidOwings, Maryland, US$60k – $80kPosted Today## Job DescriptionAbout the CompanyA well-established structural steel fabrication and erection company based in Owings, MD is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Construction Accountant who knows their way around a job cost report as well as they know QuickBooks.### About the RoleThis is a Full-cycle bookkeeping — AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliations.### Responsibilities* Job costing and WIP tracking across active projects* QuickBooks management, maintenance, and reporting* Subcontractor payments, lien waivers, and compliance documentation* Month-end close and financial reporting for ownership### Qualifications* 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience — construction industry strongly preferred### Required Skills* Advanced QuickBooks proficiency is a must (Contractor or Enterprise versions a plus)* Familiarity with AIA billing, certified payroll, or union reporting is a major plus* Organized, self-sufficient, and comfortable owning the books without a lot of hand-holding* Local to the Owings/Southern Maryland area — this is a fully on-site rolePay range and compensation package$60,000–$80,000 | Full-Time | On-SiteEqual Opportunity StatementStable, owner-operated business with decades of project history.
