Director, Corporate Development - Software M&A

We are working with an established software platform that is looking to add a senior Corporate Development professional to support its continued growth through strategic acquisitions. Based in Austin, TX , this is a high-impact opportunity to play a key role across the M&A process, working closely with senior leadership to identify, evaluate, and execute acquisitions across the software and technology landscape. The Role Help develop and execute the company’s M&A strategy and acquisition roadmap Identify, source, and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and strategic assessment of potential targets Lead and manage due diligence processes and transaction execution Work closely with senior leadership and external advisors throughout the deal process Support negotiations, transaction structuring, and closing Partner with internal teams on post-acquisition integration and strategic initiatives Build relationships with founders, management teams, and other stakeholders across the software ecosystem Ideal Background 7+ years of experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Growth Equity, or a related field Strong transaction experience within software, SaaS, technology, consumer software, or related sectors Experience evaluating and executing acquisitions; buy-and-build or roll-up experience is a plus Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills Commercially minded with the ability to identify attractive acquisition opportunities Comfortable working independently and directly with senior stakeholders Strong communication and relationship-building skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Undisclosed
