Legal Intake Specialist

We are hiring a full-time Legal Intake Specialist to support a U.S.-based law firm’s veterans’ disability practice. This role provides a welcoming first point of contact, follows the firm’s scripts to gather essential information from veterans, and handles prompt callbacks and inbox support. This is a remote position during Eastern Time hours. Key Responsibilities: Provide a welcoming first point of contact for veterans calling or reaching out to the firm. Follow the firm’s scripts to collect veterans’ email addresses, phone numbers, and straightforward information. Make outbound calls to gather straightforward information using the firm’s telephone setup. Handle initial client intake, follow-ups, calls, and inbox support during Eastern Time hours. Handle occasional off-script situations with professionalism, strong judgment, and clear communication. Hand off gathered intake details and follow-up cases smoothly to existing firm staff. Maintain dependable availability during agreed working hours and prioritize prompt callbacks. Required Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant legal intake experience and strong spoken and written English skills. Proven ability to follow scripts, gather required information accurately, and navigate off-script conversations when necessary. Dependable availability during agreed working hours with a focus on prompt client callbacks. Excellent client communication and telephone demeanor. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working with U.S.-based businesses, law firms, or professional services companies. Prior experience using CRM software, digital dialers, or tracking tools. Familiarity with using VPN tools for secure remote connections. Required Skills & Tools: Spreadsheets & Data Tracking (Google Sheets, MS Excel, or CRM tools). Digital Calling / Dialer Tools. Remote Communication Tools (Zoom, MS Teams, Slack, etc.). Southeastern U.S. VPN endpoint setup (e.g., Atlanta) as required by the firm.
