DSHS ESH Administrative Assistant 2

The Administrative Assistant 2 provides support within the Eastern State Hospital (ESH) Environmental Services (EVS) Department. This position provides clerical and administrative services to the EVS and mailroom department under the direction of the Environmental Services Manager.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with no option for remote work.

Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.

Some of what you'll do:

• Manage personnel actions for Environmental Services and Mailroom personnel
• Perform clerical and administrative services
• Coordinate and maintain office files
• Manage office equipment and custodial supply inventory
• Cover mailroom basic functions in absence of mailroom supervisor

What we're looking for:

High school diploma or equivalent, and two years of clerical, office, or administrative experience.

OR

One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 1.
