Part-Time Bookkeeper

Marcus Fyffe Dressage is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper to support the financial and administrative operations of our equestrian business and a related business entity.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Tracking and organizing bills and expenses
• Assisting ownership with bill payment and financial organization
• Preparing and sending client invoices
• Maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks
• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
• Monitoring client account balances
• Maintaining accurate financial records for two related LLCs
• Assisting with monthly financial reporting
• Working with our CPA to prepare records for tax filing

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with QuickBooks is required
• Previous bookkeeping experience is required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality
• Experience supporting a small business is preferred
• Local candidates with professional references are preferred

This is a flexible, ongoing part-time opportunity with a light workload and flexible scheduling. We would prefer someone who can work from our Wellington office, though a hybrid or remote arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.
