Part-Time Bookkeeper
Marcus Fyffe Dressage is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper to support the financial and administrative operations of our equestrian business and a related business entity.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Tracking and organizing bills and expenses
- Assisting ownership with bill payment and financial organization
- Preparing and sending client invoices
- Maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Monitoring client account balances
- Maintaining accurate financial records for two related LLCs
- Assisting with monthly financial reporting
- Working with our CPA to prepare records for tax filing
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with QuickBooks is required
- Previous bookkeeping experience is required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality
- Experience supporting a small business is preferred
- Local candidates with professional references are preferred
This is a flexible, ongoing part-time opportunity with a light workload and flexible scheduling. We would prefer someone who can work from our Wellington office, though a hybrid or remote arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.
