Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care environment. This role requires expertise in various nursing techniques and certifications to ensure effective patient management and safety. Candidates must be prepared to work night shifts of 36 or 48 hours with an emphasis on utilizing EPIC experience in their practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and medical guidelines.
• Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation and management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing timely interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatments.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or similar crisis intervention certification is required.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification is required.

Work Environment

This position will require flexibility to accommodate night shifts, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care during those hours.
