Location: Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL (preferred)
Compensation: $110,000 – $120,000 base salary + 30% annual bonus
Travel: Up to 75%
About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager to expand market presence and drive revenue growth across the Southeast region. In this role, you will partner with distributors, internal sales teams, and marketing to develop and execute strategic sales plans while building strong relationships with key customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual sales plans aligned with revenue targets
- Identify and grow key end-user accounts in partnership with distributors
- Drive territory revenue and increase market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and end-users
- Provide product expertise, demonstrations, and training to customers and partners
- Conduct market analysis and implement targeted sales strategies
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
- Manage travel and entertainment budgets
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in industrial sales, including distributor and end-user relationship management
- Mechanical aptitude, ideally with spray finishing equipment
- Knowledge of paint and solvent properties preferred
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret technical data, blueprints, and charts
- Strong business acumen, including pricing, margins, and ROI calculations
- Willingness to travel up to 75% and reside within the territory
