Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations by reviewing medical histories, performing assessments, and documenting results to create effective treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment options clearly to patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting to foster adherence to the treatment plan.
• Implement treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, adjusting techniques as necessary while maintaining compliance with evolving healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to discuss patient cases, recognizing when adjustments to the plan of care are required and when external consultations may benefit patient outcomes.
• Manage discharge planning effectively, ensuring a seamless transition for patients as they progress in their recovery, including follow-up care alignment with ongoing needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, encompassing evaluations, treatment goals, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to provide a clear record of care.
• Exhibit efficient time management skills to meet productivity benchmarks while ensuring quality interactions with every patient.
• Engage in community outreach and marketing activities to enhance the visibility of our services and increase access to care for our patient population.
• Take initiative in pursuing continuing education opportunities, ensuring both professional and organizational growth while serving as a mentor for students in clinical training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients who require rehabilitation services, ranging from those recovering from surgeries or injuries to individuals managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate degree (DPT) preferred.
• A current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a preference for home care or outpatient experience.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
