Business Development Specialist

Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Conshohocken, PA. This position is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building relationships with prospective and existing clients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, analyzing potential purchasing opportunities, preparing bids, and supporting negotiations to complete transactions. The role involves regular communication with clients and internal teams to understand needs, and ensure a smooth handoff to operations. The Business Development Specialist will also track their performance, maintain CRM records, and collaborate on business development strategies to support growth. This role requires a minimum of 40 outbound calls a day. Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships and present solutions clearly. Solid analytical skills and market research abilities to evaluate opportunities and understand industry trends. Experience with lead generation and prospecting activities in a B2B environment. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple opportunities and deadlines. Comfort working with CRM tools and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations). Prior experience in business development, sales, or account management is beneficial. Knowledge of surplus or distressed asset recovery industries is a plus but not required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Position is on-site in our Conshohocken office (note we have two locations but this is based on Conshohocken) CCG offers PTO, Health, Dental, Disability, Life and 401K benefits This role offers a competitive base salary plus commission, with first-year total earning potential of $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience and performance.
