Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health evaluations and document findings from initial consultations through to treatment conclusions, ensuring comprehensive client histories are maintained.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans based on individual, couple, family, and group counseling needs, incorporating the latest evidence-based practices in psychotherapy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various modalities to address unique client challenges and foster supportive interactions.
\n
• Monitor client progress continually, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes and improvements in mental, behavioral, and emotional health.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive intervention strategies and coordinate care, ensuring a thorough approach to client health.

• Engage with clients' psychiatrists and attending physicians when hospitalization is required, facilitating a seamless transition and continuity of care.
\n
• Identify and mitigate behaviors that could impede recovery, providing strategies for clients to overcome challenges.

• Support family members and caregivers by offering guidance and resources to help manage the impact of mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will primarily revolve around working with a variety of clients facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction disorders. You will also engage with their families to address systemic issues and develop a holistic support system for recovery. Your ability to create a compassionate rapport with clients will be crucial in fostering trust and facilitating their journey to mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with strong clinical capabilities.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly experience with AVATAR or similar platforms, is highly desirable.
\n
• Knowledge of the impact of co-occurring physical health and emotional conditions on mental health treatment.
\n
• Strong understanding of the medications prescribed for mental health conditions and their implications on therapy.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on empathetic interpersonal interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with addiction disorders and an understanding of evidence-based treatment principles in this area.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
