Resident Service Specialist

A Brief Overview The Resident Services Specialist has the primary responsibility of providing assistance and coordinating all requests from the residents with the property management team. In addition, this position is responsible for the overall appearance of the community, assisting in marketing functions, and providing exceptional customer service to all residents. This includes but is not limited to maintaining resident files, resident retention programs, receiving and following up with service requests, meeting with resident groups, and otherwise assisting the Community Director and Community Manager in ensuring compliance with all Hunt Military Communities policies and Government compliance requirements. What you will do Serve as the primary point of contact for all resident related inquiries. Coordinate and assist with all requests from residents with the property management team by entering work orders into YARDI. Answer resident questions and assist with resolving concerns while providing the highest level of customer service through courteous, professional, and prompt responses to all inquiries. This includes following up on all interactions with residents and ensuring all items have been addressed, through to resolution. Assist in inspecting the model and vacant homes to ensure they are ready for touring prospective clients as needed. Administer move‑in lease documents and home inspection with resident. Coordinate notice to vacate, pre‑inspection, move‑outs, and final inspection for outgoing residents, including assessing any charge for damages and delivery of the final utility bill (where applicable). Monitor rental account balances where applicable and ensure all fees and rent charges are correct in YARDI. Assist with ensuring community curb appeal and maintain the appearances of the office, amenities, model houses, and community. Conduct follow‑up phone calls to residents to ensure that work orders are completed to the resident’s satisfaction within an acceptable time frame. May perform other duties as needed to assist the Community Director/Community Manager and/or Leasing team. Participate in monthly functions held by the site to assist in resident retention. This position requires driving for the Company using either 1) a Company vehicle or 2) a personal or rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or other related discipline preferred. Previous experience in sales preferred. Ability to show houses and work in all types of weather conditions. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in handling highly confidential information. Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with individuals at all levels, internally and externally. Ability to handle multiple priorities with tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic coupled with a sense of responsibility and integrity required. Ability to resolve problems independently and responsibly. Reliable, self‑motivated team player who pays close attention to detail, demonstrates strong communication, client management and business literacy skills. Demonstrates discretion and ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues. Takes initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation. Requires use of technology platforms on a daily basis. Basic understanding of safety practices. Valid driver’s license required (DL number). Compensation We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $22.61 and $27.04, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. Hiring at the top of the range is reserved for exceptionally qualified candidates. We also offer a generous total compensation and benefits package.
