As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation Clerk in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care for people, and integrity while helping keep daily operations running smoothly.

DayTimeWed04:30 PM - 12:30 AMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help support order and help to deter unauthorized behavior and/or policy violations.
- Communicate with site contacts, local authorities, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
