Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Phoenix Rising Counseling Center, you will:

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnosis, creating tailored treatment plans that address individual client goals.

• Utilize various modalities, especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices, to facilitate therapeutic sessions.

• Document all client interactions meticulously, maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Regularly review and update treatment plans in collaboration with clients to ensure ongoing alignment with their evolving needs.

• Participate in weekly team meetings to share insights, discuss case management, and collaborate on best practices.

• Provide support and guidance to clients in developing coping strategies and skills to improve their mental well-being.

• Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest therapeutic techniques and trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds with different mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. As a therapist at our center, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their challenges, ensuring a safe and empowering therapeutic experience that promotes their overall mental health and wellness.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• A master’s level degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from a regionally accredited university.
\n
• An active and unrestricted license to practice in Massachusetts as a LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent.
\n
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions against you by any licensing board.
\n
• Proficient writing skills for documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
\n
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client care.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of experience in a clinical psychotherapy role is required, we prefer candidates who also have:

• Experience working specifically in telehealth or remote counseling environments.
\n
• Training and practice in various modalities beyond CBT, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

• Familiarity with evidence-based assessment tools and their application in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Phoenix Rising Counseling Center offers competitive compensation ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
