Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify individual needs, co-occurring disorders, and create tailored treatment plans that reflect clients' unique circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness practices during both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate support groups and engage clients in therapeutic exercises aimed at addressing addiction-related issues, trauma, and co-existing mental health concerns, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and goals throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation in the state of New York.
