Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create personalized therapy strategies.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual needs of clients, families, and groups.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support to clients.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing training and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCPC will work with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds in the Champaign area. Our practice serves children, adolescents, adults, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance misuse. The focus is on providing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies that result in improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical environment.

• Strong understanding of mental health treatment methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with diverse clientele.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience\n

Applicants with specialized training or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling will be strongly considered. Compensation and Benefits\n
