Position Summary The HR Manager assists the Human Resources Director in managing the HR Department and ensuring compliance with agency, state, and federal regulations. This role is key to fostering a positive workplace and supporting staff development. Key Responsibilities Develop and administer HR plans and procedures for all agency personnel. Participate in setting departmental goals and recommend improvements. Assist with job descriptions, salary surveys, compensation analysis, and performance evaluations. Verify pre-employment screening and maintain accurate personnel records. Ensure proper orientation and compliance for new hires. Oversee HR staff tasks in branch offices and provide guidance on complex issues. Investigate sensitive matters, administer accommodations, and attend exit reviews as needed. Recommend new training approaches and policies for continuous improvement. Skills & Attributes Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Ability to motivate and develop staff effectively. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Experience & Education High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
