Our client, a leading manufacturer serving the education and municipal sectors. They are seeking a Channel Sales Director to drive revenue growth through the management and development of distribution partners. The ideal candidate will oversee partner relationships, optimize sales strategies, and play a key role in expanding market penetration and reach.

Role: Remote with Travel

\n

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n

\n
• Manage and develop existing channel and distribution partners
\n
• Oversee and take accountability for sales performance, revenue and growth
\n
• Establish and maintain customer relationships; manage planning, sales trends, client expectations, training, etc.
\n
• Identify distributorship coverage gaps and create plans to increase dealer base
\n
• Review customer history, develop forecast and optimize territory coverage
\n
• Maintain pertinent, detailed data including regulatory information that could influence product sales
\n
• Actively engage in the field, hands-on assisting partners to evolve sales strategically
\n
• Provide support channel partners as needed
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s Degree required
\n
• Min. 5+ years of Sales Management experience within Distributor / Channel Sales
\n
• Background selling to architectural, building construction as well municipalities / government or public-sectors
\n
• Proven experience managing independent rep agencies or distributor networks to drive revenue
\n
• Ability to coach, train, and elevate sales teams in the field
\n
• Experience in territory planning, channel strategy, and performance management
\n
• Excellent Problem Solving & Communication skills
\n
• Strong Negotiation & Analytical skills
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
\n
• Ability to travel up to 50%, some overnights
\n

Offering:

• Base Salary $150,000 - $175,000 (based on experience)
\n
• Bonus Potential - MBO based on growth and revenue
\n
• Total @ plan $180,000 - $225,000
\n
• Travel/expense package
