Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate Group Therapy Sessions: Lead interactive and supportive group therapy sessions that encourage clients to share their experiences and learn from one another, fostering a sense of community and connection.

• Conduct Individual Counseling: Provide tailored, empathetic one-on-one counseling sessions that help clients explore their emotions, develop coping mechanisms, and set actionable goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy is required.

• A valid LPC licensure in the state of Connecticut is mandatory for this role.

• Demonstrated experience providing mental health treatment to clients with mood and mental health disorders in clinical or community settings.

• A proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, sharing a commitment to foster positive change and growth.

• Strong clinical skills and experience in providing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing.
