HR Coordinator

Position: Human Resources Coordinator Location: Cary, NC (Onsite) Pay: $34 to $37/hour Experience: 1 to 3 years of HR or administrative experience. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. Type: Full-time; Temp to Hire Greene Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support all HR functions within our growing audiovisual (AV) integration company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys contributing across multiple HR disciplines, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and administrative support. Job Description: HR Administration & Operations Maintain and update employee records, HRIS systems, and personnel files Assist with payroll coordination, time tracking, and benefits administration Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Support HR reporting, audits, and documentation Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling Assist hiring managers with recruitment efforts for technical and field roles Facilitate onboarding processes, including orientation and new hire paperwork Track and improve the onboarding experience for new employees Employee Relations & Engagement Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and HR-related concerns Support performance review processes and employee feedback initiatives Assist with employee engagement programs, events, and recognition efforts Training & Development Coordinate training sessions, certifications, and compliance programs Track employee training progress, especially for AV technical roles Support career development initiatives and internal growth opportunities Compliance & Policy Support Help enforce company policies and procedures Assist in updating employee handbooks and HR policies Ensure proper documentation for safety, licensing, and certifications (important in AV field work) Position Requirements Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems Attention to detail and confidentiality Ability to adapt in a dynamic, project-based environment Strong problem-solving and follow-through Collaborative mindset with a service-oriented approach Preferred Qualifications Experience in construction, AV, engineering, or technical service industries Familiarity with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS) Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affermative Action employer.
