About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Payroll to lead a dedicated team in managing end-to-end payroll operations for a large employee population across multiple states. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of multi-state payroll, overseeing payroll processing, and supporting continuous process improvements. Key duties include partnering with the payroll team to efficiently manage responsibilities, utilizing Workday Payroll for administration and reporting, and collaborating with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders on payroll-related matters. The role also involves year-end activities and regulatory reporting, as well as a strong focus on process optimization and operational enhancements within the payroll function. Applicants for the Vice President of Payroll position at the company should have a minimum of 2 years' recent experience with Workday Payroll and at least 5 years' in multi-state payroll. Experience in complex payroll environments with large employee populations is essential, as is a strong understanding of payroll compliance and regulatory requirements. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support a high level of operational excellence. A Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree is required, with a preference for CPP or FPC certification. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
