With 9,000 colleagues and 170 offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).A day in the life.As our Accounting Clerk on the Accounting team, you'll be responsible for the following:Download ACH/Wires received from Online Banking and deposit them into EPIC.Balance/reconcile bank deposits batches within the batches entered in computer systemMake copies of manual checks receive, create batches and send them to the lockbox for depositing into the bank.Reconcile and pay Carriers/Wholesalers/MGA/Brokers statements with trust accounts payable information in the Applied System within the required time frame.Resolve accounting discrepancies with insurance carriers and clients.Enter and reconcile the Direct Bill statement data as they are received from the insurance companies and post them prior to month end closing.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the CFO or by management. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
