Work Environment\n

Our work environment is characterized by flexibility and collaboration. As a remote position, the Licensed Mental Health Counselor will enjoy a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. You will work closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive support for your clients. Although primarily remote, occasional in-person meetings may be required to foster team cohesion and professional development.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs and preferences, allowing for the creation of individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective counseling to individuals, couples, and families.

• Collaborate with a diverse range of practitioners within our integrated care team to provide cohesive and holistic patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health issues.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, fostering self-awareness and introducing various treatment options and community resources.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential documentation to adhere to legal and ethical standards while ensuring high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will work with a diverse population of patients facing several mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance use issues. Your approach will be tailored to each individual, acknowledging their unique backgrounds and circumstances, while striving to empower them through recovery and self-advocacy.

Qualifications\n

• Essential qualification includes a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or the equivalent in the state of California.

• Demonstrable knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Proven capability in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and devising impactful treatment plans.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to a diverse clientele.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and team members.

• Robust ethical judgment and commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing your efficiency in documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
