Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting evaluation results to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Engage patients and their families in understanding evaluation findings and collaborating on setting treatment goals to enhance engagement and adherence to the therapeutic process.
• Implement treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, adapting strategies according to their progress and the dynamic healthcare landscape.
• Coordinate interprofessional consultations as necessary, while promptly recognizing and documenting any changes in a patient's condition to initiate adjustments to treatment plans or seek additional medical insights.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care ensuring continuity of care, while maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions encompassing initial evaluations, daily notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Exhibit efficient time management skills to meet productivity benchmarks while actively participating in hospital and community-based marketing initiatives to promote our services.
• Contribute to department goals through compliance with regulatory standards and engagement in quality improvement initiatives.
• Proactively pursue continuing education and professional development opportunities, serving as a mentor and clinical instructor to aspiring students in the field.
• Deliver exemplary customer service, ensuring a superior patient experience and fostering a welcoming atmosphere within our facility.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and remove obstacles to patient access and engage in initiatives aimed at improving community health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida is required.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

• Additional state-specific licenses may be necessary for certain positions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, though new graduates with strong clinical training may also be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
