Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity covers maternity leave for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher and spans 65 days, from August through November. Support several school communities while enjoying a flexible hybrid schedule, allowing you to manage paperwork and IEP meetings remotely while providing vital in-person services and assessments.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (preferred Early Childhood focus)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, specifically in early childhood settings
• Familiarity with IEP development, review, and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Proficiency in managing both virtual and in-person responsibilities
• Ability to travel to Kiowa, Bennett, and Byers as needed for on-site services

• Deliver direct special education services and assessments in person
• Complete required documentation and paperwork remotely
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings, virtually and on-site
