Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring rigorous support for families in need. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals comprised of therapists, educators, and other social workers dedicated to delivering services in a school setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify and address the unique needs of children and families.
\n
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring that they align with the child’s developmental milestones and family priorities.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to support development in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills.
\n
• Monitor the progress of goals established in IFSPs, adjusting as necessary to optimize outcomes for each child.
\n
• Build strong rapport and trust with children and families to foster a healthy and supportive learning environment.
\n
• Employ the coaching model and Natural Learning Environment Practices to engage families and enhance child development.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, maintaining the highest standards of practice for the health and safety of staff and children served.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve young children, particularly infants and toddlers, who exhibit disabilities or developmental delays. Your interventions will have a lasting impact, providing much-needed support to families navigating the challenges that arise during early childhood development. Your work will focus on not just the child’s skills but also empowering families to become advocates for their children's growth and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.

• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health is mandatory.

• Minimum of one year of experience working with children in an early intervention setting.

• A valid driver’s license is necessary for any requirements that involve travel for assessments or home visits.

• Exemplary organization, time management, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n
