Regional Sales Specialist

Makers Air is seeking a motivated, sales driven, detail-oriented Charter Sales Specialist to join our team in Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. This role combines charter sales, booking coordination, and personalized guest service to create a seamless, VIP-level experience from the initial inquiry through departure. The ideal candidate is organized, relationship-focused, and comfortable managing multiple details in a fast-paced aviation environment. What You’ll Do: Evaluate charter inquiries and provide accurate quotes, referring clients to scheduled flights when applicable. Guide clients through the booking process, collecting necessary information to select the appropriate aircraft. Follow operational protocols to ensure smooth booking and execution of services. Create and distribute custom itineraries and arrange ground transportation, catering, and special requests. Greet guests upon arrival and at Customs and ensure the passenger lounge is well-maintained and stocked. Address guest inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly, ensuring a VIP-level experience. Collect deposits and balances, maintaining accurate financial records. Coordinate with pilots, freight, valet, and hotel partners to fulfill special requests and elevate the guest experience. Generate 5 sales leads per month and quote/book day trips while cultivating relationships with hotel partners. Collaborate with the marketing team to create reports, execute strategic campaigns, and support BIT brand growth. Perform other related duties as needed. What You’ll need: High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Aviation, or a related field (preferred) 2+ years of experience in sales, charter operations, hospitality, customer service, or the travel industry. Familiarity with private aviation or tourism industries is an advantage. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., booking systems, CRM, and Microsoft Office). Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
