Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create detailed treatment plans, prioritizing both pre-crisis and crisis interventions.

• Complete timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards to maintain quality of care and continuity of services.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to assess client needs, guided by the clinical team’s directives.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective positive behavior support plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the standards of our practice.
\n
• Serve as a vital liaison to external service systems, state agencies, and community partners, advocating for client needs and resource accessibility.
\n
• Maintain clear communication channels within the organization and with clients to align with our mission and contractual obligations.
\n
• Build and sustain relationships with local, state, federal, and private entities to enhance awareness of our programs and secure new partnerships and funding opportunities.

• Pursue ongoing professional development through attending relevant conferences and participating in statewide task forces and committees.

• Promote the values, mission, and philosophy of Step to Freedom Counseling Center within the community and through all professional interactions.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to enhance service delivery and team collaboration.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with mental health disorders, substance use challenges, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field is required.

• Possession of an active and independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license.
