Seeking experienced medical receptionist for busy growing Podiatry group located in north and central, NJ.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Provides quality patient care, maintains a professional appearance, and demeanor.
* Check- In patients and obtain correct insurance information and patient demographic, also secures all referrals needed.
* Collect Co pays, insurance deductible, outstanding balances, and Co Insurance as applies
* Answering phones
* Scheduling Appointments
*Coordinate Front Desk Activities and Medical assistance
* Obtain authorizations for all procedures
* Prepares for next day
*Coordinating hospital schedule for surgeries
*Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
* Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Bilingual preferred Spanish
Previous experience in medical field is a must preferred podiatry
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour based on experience
