Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (Lead) - North Phoenix Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a rapidly growing company in North Phoenix to find a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (Lead) who can guide and support an eight-person AP team. - Lead and mentor an AP team of 8, ensuring smooth daily workflow
- Own the full AP cycle , including high-volume weekly check runs
- Drive process improvements and contribute to special projects
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Utilize Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) for reporting and analysis
- Manage onboarding paperwork in Paycom
- Support AP Supervisor and team with critical thinking-not just processing
- 4+ years full-cycle AP experience, including leadership or mentoring
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency
- Ability to excel in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
- Experience with Dynamics 365 or Coupa a plus
- On-site availability in North Phoenix
- Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
- $30-$31/hr (temp-to-hire)
