This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys collaborating with leadership, driving employee engagement, and supporting key people initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Job Description The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing strategic and day-to-day human resources support. This role partners closely with operational leaders to strengthen employee relations, improve organizational effectiveness, and ensure HR practices align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Partner with department leaders to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning. Advise managers on HR policies, employment practices, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Support recruiting efforts by partnering with hiring managers throughout the hiring process, from requisition planning through onboarding. Coach supervisors on employee development, conflict resolution, and performance improvement strategies. Assist with investigations involving workplace concerns and recommend appropriate resolutions. Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and employee engagement. Support compensation, performance review, and talent development initiatives. Coordinate and facilitate onboarding activities to ensure a positive new hire experience. Participate in organizational change initiatives and help drive HR programs that support business goals. Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner, Human Resources Generalist, or similar HR role. Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations. Experience supporting leaders in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environment is a plus. Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications. Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus. Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
