Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Develop, implement, and monitor tailored treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly track client progress and adapt treatment plans based on evolving client needs and therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care for clients.

• Stay abreast of the latest research on mood disorders to inform treatment approaches and improve client outcomes.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work towards reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of individuals experiencing mood disorders and related mental health challenges. This includes clients coping with severe anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorders, as well as populations that often face additional barriers to mental health care such as refugees, domestic abuse survivors, and those experiencing homelessness. Your role will be instrumental in providing empathetic support and evidence-based care that empowers clients to achieve improved mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
