Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeper/Floor TechRockford Center is searching for an experienced Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeper/Floor Tech for a full-time position from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Rockford Center is a 138-bed mental health facility located in Newark, DE, providing easy access to a full complement of inpatient and partial behavioral health programs for children and adolescents, adults, and older adults. Rockford is the only child inpatient behavioral health facility in DE, offers an experienced and tenured senior management team, and serves New Castle County and northern Maryland.Position Summary: In this rewarding role, you will ensure the maintenance of a clean, healthy, and pleasant environment for patients, staff, and visitors, including specialized floor care and maintenance.Responsibilities:Clean floors in-patient and non-patient areas using proper supplies and equipmentMaintain facility and furnishings in clean, orderly fashion, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing and carpet cleaningMove furniture when necessaryRemove trash and waste from designated areas of facilityMake beds correctly and remove and replace linens, placing in designated storage area for launderingMaintain facility and furnishings in clean, orderly fashion, including dusting furniture, cleaning windows, keeping bathrooms clean and supplies replenishedBenefits:Competitive compensationGenerous paid time off – 23 days in the first year!Excellent medical, dental, vision and prescription drug plans401(K) with company match and discounted stock planSoFi student loan refinancing programQualifications:High school diploma/GEDPrevious housekeeping experience in a hospital setting requiredTwo (2) years of related experience, with knowledge of hospital cleaning and floor careEEO Statement: All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
