The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Utica is seeking an RN Supervisor to work doubles Saturday and Sundays. Work 4 shifts get paid for 5!

Position type: Full-Time

Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays
Starting pay: $46 hourly

Position Overview:

The Weekend RN Supervisor at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Utica plays a vital role in promoting and restoring patients' health. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term planning of patient care, overseeing staff, collaborating with physicians, and providing both physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with patients, families, and staff to understand care needs

• Schedule and assign nursing staff to meet patient care requirements

• Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their families

• Answer questions and communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team

• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment

• Follow and enforce infection control and medication safety policies

• Protect patient confidentiality at all times

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care

• Oversee medical equipment, including maintenance and repairs

• Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily operations

Requirements:

• Current NYS RN Licensure

• Minimum two years of experience in Long-Term Care or Med/Surg

• Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory capacity (preferred)
