Business Development Manager - Oracle Consulting Services (Financial Services)

Business Development Manager – Overview The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth in Huron’s Oracle consulting services. The role focuses on generating new business within North America, selling direct‑to‑customer solutions across Oracle ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM, CX, and AI, and maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities Generate new business for the group and maintain Huron’s status as a premier Oracle consulting partner. Close large, million‑plus dollar deals and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal submission. Build and nurture relationships with customers, C‑Suite, VP, Director, and Manager level executives. Provide exceptional account management and customer service through frequent contact via calls, email, and in‑person meetings. Respond to RFPs, staffing requests, and other business opportunities, identifying opportunities for cross‑selling Huron services. Collaborate with architects, industry SMEs, and delivery professionals to develop solutions, pricing, and proposals. Assist in refining Huron messaging for target engineering industries. Maintain a robust pipeline and actively pursue new opportunities. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in a business development or sales role in IT professional services or management consulting. Demonstrated expertise and a strong network within the Oracle ecosystem. Full sales cycle experience, from lead generation to closing large, million‑plus dollar deals. Flexible living locations across the U.S.; role requires travel as needed. Salary and Benefits Estimated base salary range: $110,000 – $168,000. The actual salary will vary based on skills, experience, market, and travel requirements.
