Accounts Receivable Manager Location: Fully Remote Assignment Type: Temporary, 36 months with potential to extend or convert to permanent Compensation: $50$62/hour Work Schedule: M-F 9-5 Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Job Description We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee day-to-day accounts receivable operations and lead a team of accounting professionals. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, cash application, collections, reconciliations, and reporting in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong NetSuite experience, a proven background managing accounts receivable functions, and experience working with large retail customers and vendor portals such as Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart, Target, or similar platforms. Key Responsibilities Manage and provide leadership to the Accounts Receivable team and oversee daily AR operations. Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing, cash application, and account reconciliations. Oversee customer billing inquiries and serve as a key point of contact for AR-related issues. Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other departments to resolve billing and payment issues. Participate in customer onboarding to understand billing requirements and establish appropriate processes. Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency. Manage collections activities, including customer outreach, payment terms, credit limits, and overdue balances. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and internal controls for AR processes. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation as needed. Develop and monitor AR reporting, forecasting, and key performance indicators. Assist with bad debt processes, year-end activities, and external audit requests. Identify opportunities to improve processes, establish best practices, and increase operational efficiency. Lead regular team meetings and provide guidance on priorities, challenges, and process improvements. Qualifications 35+ years of Accounts Receivable, Billing, Credit, or related accounting management experience. Strong NetSuite experience is required. Experience working with Amazon Vendor Central or other major retailer/vendor portals such as Walmart or Target is required. Previous experience managing or leading an Accounts Receivable team. Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes. Experience in a high-volume, transactional environment. Advanced Excel skills, including experience with data analysis and reporting. Experience with invoicing, cash application, collections, reconciliations, and journal entries. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage high transaction volumes effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with multiple currencies, international customers, and varying billing or tax requirements is a plus.
