Accounting Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our growing team. This individual will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with month-end close, and ensure the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, billing, and payment tracking.Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.Perform bank, general ledger, and balance sheet account reconciliations.Support month-end and year-end close activities.Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and outstanding transactions.Assist with financial reporting, schedules, and supporting documentation.Maintain organized accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.Required QualificationsAssociate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.1–3 years of accounting or related financial experience.Understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits, credits, and general ledger activity.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. xhyhwjd Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.
