Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual client situations.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices to enhance their understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients suffering from a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, as well as marginalized groups such as the homeless, refugees, and domestic abuse survivors. Your work will not only involve individual therapy but also group sessions aimed at fostering communal support among clients dealing with similar challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
