What we’re looking for:

• Hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in California
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience providing speech and language services in schools is highly valued
• Strong collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and support staff
• Excellent communication and organization abilities
• Creative, student-centered approach to therapy

Role responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
• Keeping detailed progress records and presenting reports to interdisciplinary teams
• Counseling and training families and educational staff on support strategies
• Participating in IEP meetings and case conferences
• Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
