Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess and diagnose the mental health status of patients who have received a cancer diagnosis, utilizing the latest tools and methodologies, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, emphasizing safety, symptom management, and culturally sensitive approaches.

• Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal mental health outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records consistent with regulatory standards and departmental protocols, using current technology to facilitate information management.

• Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, relatives, and external healthcare providers to create a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide mentoring and educational support to interns, students, and volunteers, fostering their development in clinical practice.

• Participate in peer reviews and clinical collaborations, sharing insights and feedback to contribute to the overall professional growth of the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on patients coping with the psychological challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 per year, reflecting your skills and experience.
