Come and join us in CO+I and be at the forefront of the action!ResponsibilitiesAs a Metro Build Program Manager, your success will be measured by:Data Center Build OperationsEstablish positive working relationships with construction stakeholdersAttend all metro new build, expansion and retrofit project related design, construction, and commissioning meetingsBe the liaison between Construction and Operations (be the voice for Operations) and escalate any issues that could cause impactParticipate in all Construction/Operations walkthroughs, as well as routine construction inspections during the buildsCoordinate and execute turnover operations, ensure turnover checklist is completed and validated, and all turnover artifacts are delivered on timeDocument and report lessons learned from each projectService DeliveryBalance leadership, influence skills, supportive individual contributions, project management, and expertise in enterprise-level operationsMonitor services and KPIs, OKRs, SLAs, and OLAs and report trends and service anomaliesKeep track of all the latest and upcoming key milestones and deliverablesLead key processes, such as team and triage meetings, prioritizes work across the team, and rebalances priorities to respond to changesStandardize infrastructure equipment, processes, and workflows through design, construction, and turnover of these world class facilities Assist with new facility design & commissioning, coordinating to installation of core network infrastructuresData Center Work Environment:Share best practices, assists others in learning role, process, procedures, and mentors othersPromote a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of datacenter activitiesRealize the impact of change on othersLearn, live, and coach the One Microsoft culture and values. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's or Technical College Degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field AND 8+ years experience in critical environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU), or working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling) OR High School Qualification or equivalent AND 10+ years experience in critical environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU), or working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling) OR equivalent experienceApplicable certifications: APICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, CCNA Certifications, ITIL v3 Foundation, Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) Certifications3+ years’ experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) or working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling)Data Center Operations Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,600 - $202,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,500 - $225,800 per year.
