Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in managing your schedule while working with clients in a hospice center environment. Throughout your work, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including healthcare professionals, therapists, and educators, enhancing the integrated approach to pediatric care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to determine their psychosocial needs and developmental challenges.

• Engage actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) to provide tailored support for each child and their family.

• Monitor and document progress towards goals within the IFSP, ensuring timely adjustments as needed.

• Provide consistent emotional and practical support to families, helping them navigate the complexities of caregiving and enhancing their child’s development.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Practices when recommending strategies and interventions.

• Adhere to and comply with all regulatory and safety standards set by Federal and State agencies.

• Build rapport with children, families, and team members to create a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere.

• Employ coaching techniques and natural environment teaching methods to facilitate child learning and development.
