Product Success Manager For Japan & APAC

As our Product Success Manager for Japan & APAC, you are the architect of the Biorce experience across one of our most strategically important markets. We are redefining the landscape of clinical trials, and that begins with deeply understanding the humans behind the data.

This is a unique, high-impact hybrid role tailored for a driven professional - whether from a scientific, clinical, or business background - looking to operate at the intersection of AI and pharmaceutical innovation. As the primary point of contact for our Japanese and APAC partners, you will serve as a strategic advisor, guiding them on how to leverage Aika - our flagship AI platform - to drive unprecedented efficiency in their clinical trials. You will be the bridge between Biorce's global product vision and the specific needs, culture, and regulatory environment of the Japanese and broader APAC market.

What You'll Do

Strategic Customer Success

  • End-to-End Ownership: Orchestrate the entire post-sales journey for our Japan & APAC accounts, transforming complex contracts into seamless "go-lives" through rigorous project management.
  • Strategic Advisory: Lead high-impact kick-offs to align Aika's AI capabilities with the client's specific clinical and regulatory objectives serving as a long-term "sparring partner" for their teams.
  • Scalable Support: Oversee the customer support ecosystem for the region, ensuring rapid resolution and high satisfaction.
  • Proactive Health Monitoring: Utilize engagement data and health scores to identify trends across your accounts, proactively intervening to prevent churn and drive expansion.

Product Strategy & Influence

  • Voice of the Customer: Consolidate complex client needs from the Japan & APAC region into actionable product requirements. You will identify high-value opportunities to help define and prioritize the next generation of Aika's features for this market.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Drive the successful implementation of new features by collaborating with our Product Management team, ensuring regional nuances are reflected in the product.
  • Strategic Alignment: Report to the Head of Product to ensure client-led iterations from the APAC region remain synchronized with Biorce's long-term product vision.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a high-achiever ready to operate at the intersection of AI, customer success, and the Japanese and APAC pharmaceutical industry. You may come from a scientific or clinical background, or from business, consulting, or commercial roles - what unites all strong candidates is a deep familiarity with the pharma or biotech landscape and a builder's mindset.

  • Pharma & Life Sciences Industry Knowledge (Required): 5+ years of experience working in or closely with the pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research industry. You understand the dynamics of drug development, regulatory frameworks, and the operational realities of clinical trials - whether from a scientific, commercial, or strategic vantage point. Familiarity with the Japanese pharma market is a strong plus.
  • Flexible Background - Science or Business: You may hold a degree in life sciences, medicine, business, or a related field. A scientific background (PhD, MD, or equivalent research experience) is a valued asset, particularly for engaging with senior medical and scientific stakeholders, but is not a prerequisite. What matters is your ability to speak credibly to the industry.

Whether it's navigating a difficult product challenge or celebrating a milestone go-live, you show up with empathy, energy, and accountability.

  • Exceptional Communication: You possess the rare ability to translate complex AI or scientific concepts into clear, actionable business value for stakeholders at all levels - across cultures and organizational hierarchies.
  • Languages: Native or business-level fluency in Japanese and full professional fluency in English are both required for this role. The ability to build trusted, senior-level relationships in Japanese is essential.
  • Cultural Fluency: A genuine understanding of Japanese business culture - including relationship-building norms, communication styles, and decision-making dynamics - is critical to success in this role.
  • The "Owner" Mentality: You are highly self-motivated and thrive in fast-paced environments where the path forward isn't always documented. You are eager to take full ownership of our Japan & APAC flagship accounts and shape how Biorce grows across the region.

Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and location. The ranges above reflect our good-faith estimate at the time of posting, in line with Labor Law and similar pay transparency regulations.
